About KWSQA

Started in 1997, we are a community of software professionals from firms in the Kitchener-Waterloo region (Ontario, Canada). We are interested in the investigation and discussion of software quality topics, with a special emphasis on providing software professionals with a means of sharing their experiences.

We also encourage the membership and participation of students entering the field of software development, software quality and software engineering; as well as researchers interested in the advancement of software quality.

KWSQA's Mission Statement Is As Follows

To Promote a more disciplined approach to software quality by:

Providing the Software Quality Assurance community with an open forum in which to share expertise
Promoting a professional image of Software Quality in the local hi-tech community
Promoting the discipline of Software Quality as a viable career option for graduates of computer science and software engineering programs
Promote the understanding of software quality as an integral part of the software process which begins at the earliest life cycle phases within software development
